AN ENDLESS STRING OF LIES DISPROVEN

The Chinese police said Darren Russell died from being hit by a truck in the early morning hours of April 14, 2005. Since that time, Chinese authorities have not been forthcoming with information regarding the facts and circumstances of his death.

Official Chinese police and hospital reports said it was a traffic accident. Now we have compelling proof that this is not true. On March 14 of this year, Darren Russell’s body was exhumed and autopsied. A board-certified pathologist concluded that Darren Russell was murdered by blunt force trauma to the head and brain, most likely with a pipe or other heavy club-like object, and that his death was not the result of any injury sustained from being hit by any kind of motor vehicle.

For two years, his memory has been disparaged by a boundless pack of half-truths and outright lies, some by Chinese authorities, others by the US State Department. It is time for full, uncompromising accountability from both governments so that the truth comes out, and, most importantly, so that nothing like this ever happens again to any other American teaching or working in China.

Darren Russell has been pulled from his grave and scientific fact has spoken that he was murdered. Now is the time for all parties responsible for his death to answer. And now, more than ever, it is time for action, which only can begin with an honest, thorough and public investigation into his murder.
